2024 List of Events

DHDC in partnership with the SDBA (Southwest Detroit Business Association) and CBA, invites you to a festive, family-friendly event bringing together the Detroit community with holiday cheer, entertainment, and valuable resources. Set to take place across various locations in Detroit, this event is packed with activities for all ages, helping connect local businesses, organizations, and residents for a memorable day of celebration.

• Date & Time: Shuttle buses will run from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM to connect event locations, with activities at DHDC (Detroit Hispanic Development Corporation) for non-brick-and-mortar vendors from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Activities Include: Pictures with Santa, live performances, bonfires, a hot cocoa bar, giveaways, DJ sets, a coloring museum, and much more to keep everyone entertained.
• Local Involvement: Businesses and organizations are encouraged to display the event poster and balloons in their windows, decorate for the holiday season, and consider hosting a live activation (e.g., mural painting, DJs, or vendors at Old Western Market, or hot cocoa, Christmas music, and caricature artists at Gaelic League).
